Remediation in Field Education

When might remediation be necessary? A student’s mid term evaluation has multiple area’s marked as “unsatisfactory” The Field Instructor contacts the Field Education Director to report concerns about the student that warrant more than just a discussion If a remediation plan is put into place, and the student does not improve and meet the goals set out in the plan, the student will lose that placement.
