WASC Visit Summary Must include if you had WASC visit during 2016-17 SAMPLE SUMMARY CAMPUS received the WSCUC action letter dated xx-xx-xxxx with regard to its accreditation visit that took place on xx-xx-xxxx. According to that document: CAMPUS received reaccreditation for a period of XXX years; A progress report was due by xx-xx-xxxx; An interim report is due xx-xx-xxxx; Mid-cycle review is scheduled in xxxx; The next offsite review is scheduled in xxxx and the accreditation visit in xxxx. Item 2 has been completed; CAMPUS filed the progress report on institutional learning outcomes, General Education learning outcomes, and the strategic plan. The letter from the staff liaison of WSCUC praised the efforts CAMPUS made to accomplish these tasks.

Delayed Projected Programs Projections are automatically removed if the associated degree proposals are not submitted within five years of the originally projected implementation date The request shall include: an explanation of why the projection was not developed into a proposal and implemented; updated program demand data; campus curriculum committee approval to keep the projection; and the changes in place that will ensure implementation and maintenance of a successful program.

New Degree Programs-Traditional Proposal Projections Degree designation and title (e.g., BS Biochemistry); Projected implementation date; A brief summary of the purpose and characteristics of the proposed degree program; Dates associated with campus approval; Delivery mode: fully face-to-face, hybrid, or fully online program; Support mode: state-support or self-support/extended education;

New Degree Programs-Traditional Proposal Projections (continued) Anticipated student demand; Workforce demands and employment opportunities for graduates; Other relevant societal needs; An assessment of the required resources and a campus commitment to allocating those resources; and For new degree programs that are not already offered in the CSU, a compelling rationale explaining how proposed subject area meets CSU requirements for coherent, integrated academic degree program at the undergraduate or graduate level with potential value to students

Pilot Programs Make sure you meet the specified criteria Limited number allowed per campus Follow through on procedures for approval beyond the authorized 5-year pilot period
