Summer MASH Camp Phase I and II Summer 2018 Students from Woods, Alfalfa and Majors County Phase I: 42 students (just finishing 6th grade) attended the 2 ½ day experience focusing on health careers Phase II: 20 students (just finishing 8th grade) for 1 day experience including preparation for job sharing in the morning and afternoon job sharing across a variety of health-related opportunities Senior Students are participating in program evaluation.

Graduates Traditional Program: 30 in May 2018 Online RN-to-BSN: 13 in August 2018 5 in December 2018

2019-20 Applicants Traditional Program 84 interested applicants – some with only partial admission packets submitted. 40 interviews completed. 19 Letters of acceptance sent to applicants who met all of the admission qualifications, 3 letters to applicants whose status will be determined at the end of this spring semester, and 4 students will return from previous year.

Online RN-to-BSN Program Admissions Rolling acceptance: 4 pending approval for Fall 2019 with more in process of applying Enrolling students every semester

ADN-BSN Articulation Project Exploring options with 4 Community Colleges To develop pilot program for smoother articulation from ADN to BSN.

BSN to DNP Family Nurse Practitioner Program First Cohort Admitted Fall 2017 Now there are 9 FT and 9 PT Loss of 6 Second Cohort Admitted Fall 2018 Now there are 7 FT and 10 PT Loss of 8 Third Cohort to be admitted Fall 2019 21 admission letters to go out next week

Program Outcomes 2018 Pass Rate and NCLEX: NCLEX Pass Rate Report to OBN for Enid Campus pass rates due September 1, 2019. Follow Up Progress Report for Alva Campus due July 2019

Program Outcomes Ongoing NCLEX Improvement Actions: Applicants must meet the benchmark scores of 73 overall and 65 on the Science component on the Kaplan Admission Exam on the first (and only) attempt. No re-takes. Continued faculty 1:1 work with at risk students Continued annual curriculum mapping to the NCLEX Test Plan to assure a well-rounded curriculum. Enhanced NCLEX Prep in NURS 4033 Professional Issues course.

Program Outcomes Ongoing NCLEX Improvement Actions: Faculty continue to participate in Teaching Strategy workshops/webinars to assure understanding and incorporation of evidence-based active learning techniques. Faculty continue to complete no fewer than 6 CE Credits in new clinical content for their assigned courses annually.

PROGRAM COMPLETION RATES Traditional Program 2015 – 2016: 97% 2016 – 2017: 92.1% 2017 – 2018: 91% Online RN-to-BSN Program 2015 – 2016: 100% 2016 – 2017: 96% 2017 – 2018: 89.66%

JOB PLACEMENT RATES Traditional Program*: 2016- 85% 2017 – 82% 2018 – 85% Online RN-to-BSN Program: 2015 - 2016: 92.85% 2016 – 2017: 95.8% 2017 – 2018: 100% *Traditional BSNs polled on last day of the semester

Program Outcomes Employer Feedback from April 2018 Meeting: 50% rated the NWOSU grads as “equivalent” to other BSN grads, 40% as “above” Rated the NWOSU Grads as strong in: Skills Basic Knowledge Opportunities to strengthen: Time Management and Prioritization Critical Thinking/Reasoning Documentation All replied that NWOSU Nursing had good reputation in facility/community. All replied that they would continue to hire NWOSU grads.
