DATABASES Keiser University has several databases for nursing research LIRN (Infotrac and Proquest) EBSCOHOST /CINAHL SALEM HEALTH This PowerPoint will provide a tutorial in searching these databases. Keiser University Library System 3

LIRN Library and Information Resources Network a collection of both general and medical-specific databases. How to Access the Electronic Databases or Search for a Book First, go to the Library’s Web site and Log In. http://kesu-verso.auto-graphics.com Keiser University Library System 5

Find books, magazines and DVD’s available for check-out on your campus Keiser University Library System 7

To reserve a book click on the title link, then click reserve title Keiser University Library System 10

Book Reserves Select your pick up location (usually your campus library) and click submit. The Librarians check the reserves throughout the day and fill them daily. Once your reserve is placed, no one else can check out the item unless there are multiple copies of the same item available. Use this same process to check out books through Interlibrary loan. Librarians at other campuses fill ILL requests and send the materials via FedEx or UPS to the pick up location daily. The librarians will notify you when your requested materials arrive!
