Classroom Rules and Procedures The following discipline procedures will be used in class!

Classroom Rules 1. Students are to bring all required materials and supplies to class each day (-5 points each time). 2. Students are to be in their seats, quiet, and ready to work when the tardy bell rings (-5 points if you aren’t ready/late when the door closes). 3. Students are to follow directions the first time they are given (discipline procedure on next slide). 4. Students are to raise their hand to be recognized before speaking (discipline procedure on next slide). 5. Students are to remain in their seats unless given permission to get up (discipline procedure on next slide). 6. Students should not eat, drink, or chew gum in the classroom (-5 ppt points).

Disciplinary Procedures 1st offence- Warning – noted in my book 2nd offence- Parent Notification 3rd offence- Detention You must understand that this is not to be discussed in class. Any discrepancies will be dealt with outside of classtime. Offenses are cummulative

Classroom Procedures

Entering and Exiting Class Entering Class Exiting Class A. A. B. C. D. After entering the room, students may not leave without permission. Students may not leave books and materials outside the classroom for any reason Upon entering, students should go to their assigned seats and prepare for class. Take out homework or open your notebook to yesterdays work. B. C. The teacher will dismiss the class Not The Bell. Do not pack books to exit class until instructed to do so by the teacher. Students are responsible for cleaning the area around their desks before leaving the room. If you leave your textbook you will receive -5 ppt points. On your second offense you will have a detention

Restroom and Water Restroom a. Students should use the restroom before class. b. After entering the classroom, students will not be allowed to leave unless it is an extreme Emergency. c. You have three bathroom passes per bimester. If you need another it is -5 ppt points. Water a. Students should get water before class

Pencil Sharpening and Trash Pencil Sharpening a. Students are to sharpen pencils upon entering the classroom b. If your lead breaks during class and if your have no other writing utensil, raise your hand and wait for further instructions. Trash a. Trash will be thrown away when your are dismissed from class. Keep it at your desk until you are dismissed. b. Pick up all paper around your desk before leaving the room.
