STITCH THE FABRIC ALL THE WAY THROUGH UNTIL THERE IS A LONG CHAIN OF THREAD THAT FOLLOWS THE FABRIC! 3. MAKE SURE THE PRESSER FOOT IS IN THE DOWN POSITION BEFORE YOU BEGIN SERGING.

NEVER NEVER NEVER 1. NEVER YANK THE THREADS! 2. NEVER SEW OVER PINS! 3. NEVER CROSS YOUR STITCHING LINE!

2. WHAT DOES THE SERGER HAVE INSTEAD OF A BOBBIN TO FORM A STITCH? THE LOOPERS CREATE THE STITCH THAT OVERCASTS THE SEAM.

3. HOW DO THE KNIVES WORK TO CUT THE FABRIC? THEY CROSS OVER EACH OTHER LIKE SCISSORS, AND THEY CUT ANYTHING THAT GETS IN THE WAY OF THE BLADES.
