Why edits were made The templates were outdated Updated abbreviations and terminology such as “OFRD” The templates had inconsistencies Renamed CV Cover Page to align with CCHQ Promotion Year Checklist Updated awards to align with CCI511.01 effective date 11 January 2017 The templates lacked examples Reduce guess-work for officers on how to communicate information CV Instructions were not consistent with templates

Summary of Edits to CV Instruction Document Expanded from 4 to 11 pages Added distinct guidance for each document Expanded guidance on awards listing references Included example to list graduate and doctorate degree programs in which officers are enrolled

Summary of Edits to CV Cover Page Template Document title updated to align with CCHQ Promotion Checklist terminology Awards - three categories recommended, placed in two columns to save space Example provided to identify current enrollment Example provided how to identify a change in rank while in the same billet Updated and expanded Readiness section
