DAVIS INDUSTRIES CRM MARKETING WEB EVENT – PROJECT X

Project X Plan of Action Hype Navigation 6 weeks out, post countdown website with silhouettes of people holding signs walking in and standing around As the countdown runs, prize codes will appear for random visitors to the site. As the countdown runs down, more and more of the silhouettes arrive and then begin to reveal the person The silhouettes are revealed to be celebrities (well-known, but not ridiculous. Think Penn and Teller, not Kim Kardashian) When the countdown hits zero, the people all flip over their signs to read different areas of the site. The signs become clickable links to the areas of the site. Content Any prize codes can be redeemed for amazing prizes (since the budget is unlimited, think cars, vacations, cash) The other linked areas of the site feature three areas of the company’s new CRM – ease of use, return on investment, and flexibility Ease of Use Area features a live lightbox demo site of the workflow configuration tool. Users are invited to setup a workflow. Upon entering information, the “mock” tool actually sends them a sample communication from their design. Return on Investment Flexibility Area features a simulation game where the users run their choice of two companies – “CRM Inc.” or Anti-CRM, LLC.” The simulations allow for customers, income, expenses, and marketing campaigns. The “Anti-CRM, LLC.” simulation always results in a bankruptcy. The “CRM Inc.” simulations always ends with an IPO and a rich retirement. Each simulation runs with a series of set animations. This area runs a video storyline built into the site itself. The video follows a “choose your own adventure” style and will pause occasionally to allow the user to choose one of three paths. Each path sequence generates a unique story highlighting the flexibility of different CRM uses. The celebrities from the countdown page have cameos in the video.
